Determine What Meets Your Needs
At Chalfant we start with your application criteria - The dimensional
data of your facility that we require can be found on the back of
any of our submittal literature.
Which Style Seal, Shelter or Hybrid Unit?
The goal of your application may emphasize one feature more so than
the others. Below is a brief guideline summary for product application.
• Compression Seals
Provide tightest seal at the dock while limiting full access to the back
of the trailer. Compression Seals require building to withstand 35 to 90 lbs of pressure
per foot. Most economical investment choice.

• Enveloping Seals
Provide an efficient seal at the dock, full access to the back of the
trailer, and your building need withstand very minimal pressure. Moderate investment
