Chalfant Series 200 & 205 Adjustable Dock Seal

Chalfant Series 200 & 205 Adjustable Dock Seal provides a tight seal between the building and truck at your loading dock. These special dock seals feature an 18" high, steel-backed adjustable head pad, designed to accommodate different truck heights that can arrive at your dock. The Series 200 Adjustable Dock Seal uses a garage-door type torsion spring. The Series 205 Adjustable Dock Seal uses a weight counter-balancing system.

Beveled side pads to provide tight seal against truck and prevent weather, dust, bugs,

exhaust fumes from entering building.

High resilent premium grade polyurthane foam, bonded with high quality liquid adhesive to kiln

dried wood, all are encased inside the dock seal fabric cover to protect it from abuse

and the elements (optional 14 gauge galvanized steel backing also available).

Adjustable head pad accomodates wide range of trucks of varying heights.

18” Metal back head pad is counterbalance by torsion spring & travels in tracks.

All pads are equipped with air vents to help minimize rupture, and drain holes equipped

with brass grommet type drain holes to reduce moisture build-up.

Door Service Size

Idea door size for the Series 200 & 205 Adjustable Dock Seal is 8’ x 8’ to 9’ x 10’. Recommended seal past bumper 4” – 6”

Truck Service Range

A properly specified Chalfant Series 200 & 205 Adjustable Dock Seal can have a service range from 10’0” to 13’6” high and 8’0” to 8’6” wide, sealing most common varieties of over-the-road trucks at your dock.
