 CHALFANT Series “L” Curtain
Chalfant Series “L” Curtain provides a tight seal between
the building and truck at your loading dock. Designed with the variety
of trucks using rear step bumpers/lift gates and various truck heights that can arrive at your dock in mind.
How It Works
A truck backs into your loading dock and compresses the Chalfant Series
“L” Curtain, creating a seal. The truck is then stopped by properly
selected loading dock bumpers to suit the application. After loading/unloading
is completed at the dock and the truck departs, your Chalfant Series
“L” Curtain foam pad returns to its original shape, ready
for the next truck.
Door Service Size
Idea door size 8’ x 8’ to 10’ x 10’. Recommended
seal past bumper 10” - 14”
Truck Service Range
A properly specified Chalfant Series “L” Curtain will
have a service range from 10’6” to 13’6”
high and 8’0” to 8’6” wide, sealing most
common varieties of over-the-road trucks and trucks with rear step bumpers/lift
gates at your dock.
